Hey y'all!
Once I started to learn the rules and use them to my advantage, I landed my first Director position in a Fortune 300 company at 24. I presented to my first corporate board (of a publicly traded company) at 28.And at 33, I would hold a VP title with a household brand. I have worked and studied across the world, from the urban jungle of Manhattan to the rainforest of Queensland, Australia while working with Fortune 500 companies, governmental organizations, academia, and non-profits. I love learning both in traditional and experiential environments. I have a BA, MS, MBA, and PhD.
In my free time (when there is any), I volunteer for several dog rescues and serve as a foster home for special needs French Bulldogs – three of which are my forever children. I enjoy traveling and finding great “hole-in-the-wall” places to eat. As a queer woman, it is important to me to spend time mentoring and coaching LGBTQ youth and young adults in my communities. In every aspect of my life, I've learned to follow my passion.
My personal goal on this earth is to make the world a more just and equitable place.
I'm a quirky and rebellious corporate executive with a proven track record of shaking things up and challenging the status quo. In 2019, I was named one of Fortune’s Innovative Leaders of the Year under the Fortune 100 Best Places to Work rankings. I've facilitated consent-based workshops for TED and pushed the boundaries with my TEDx talk on how the BDSM community can teach corporations to create safe space. I founded RAMSHEAD Inc, a leadership consulting company, to help corporations adapt their corporate culture to be more inclusive while also creating defined safe space for all employees. My Shattering Ceilings program combines my experience as a corporate executive with my academic research and my practice as an executive coach. My specialty is helping women and underrepresented folks master the unwritten rules of Corporate America in order to remove all barriers holding them back from the growth and success they want in their career.
After college, I joined a large, national company and was thrown headfirst into the unique world that is corporate culture. I was treading water for several years until I figured out the game I was unknowingly playing.
I love traveling and have visited more than 50 countries to date
